About the event

Join our facilitators for a workshop to get your literary and artistic juices flowing!


First off, we'll be taken on a quick tour of the Dockyard looking for hidden words and mysterious symbols. Do you know for example - what the arrow icon in the image means? If not, we'll tell you!


Then we'll go back inside to the Namur Room (wheelchair accessible and adjacent to the cafe) where we'll spend the rest of the session exploring how to put words and images together that are inspired by the words and symbols that we've found around the Dockyard.


All materials are provided and we'll be making a folded booklet which will form part of an exhibition later in the year.


  • This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Children from age 13-18 are welcome, accompanied by an adult.
